We continue our Tradition of Excellence this school year by welcoming in our newest members; the Class of 2014 and many new faculty and staff.  There is no doubt that together we have the energy, desire, enthusiasm and ability to support one another in reaching our goals of today and tomorrow.

To that end, the Board began conducting a Master Facilities Planning Process in regards to District 86 in December of 2008.  This process consists of three-phases that focus on physical and educational refinements that can be made to our system to create a lasting legacy.  To assist with this process, the District established a Master Facilities Planning Steering Committee comprised of administrators, Board members, faculty, staff, students, parents and community members because each one of us provides a unique perspective as to how to foster and support our Tradition of Excellence.  We are pleased to report the Master Facilities Plan was adopted at the July 19, 2010 Regular Action Board Meeting.  Follow our progress as we work together to strengthen our Tradition of Excellence and build the legacy of which now you are a part.

Best Regards,

Dr. Nicholas Wahl
